such a tough choice, really makes you think!

The American materiel loaned to the Soviets was so good that it fought the war autonomously. Really makes you wonder why Americans weren’t using it themselves.
Basic history for the nazlibs lurking:
-
The Waffen-SS was not part of the German military, it was literally the militia of the Nazi party, so you can’t even try to play the “clean Wehrmacht” historical revisionist bullshit here.
-
1st Galician was a VOLUNTEER division, meaning this person you’re defending chose to join the party and VOLUNTEERED to fight against the allies.

Just when I think I have seen the high watermark of Nazi whitewashing and Cold War Soviet equivocation, weeks like this come along. I am now convinced that we are a few weeks away from a Liberal saying something to the effect of “Look the Holocaust was bad, but the Nazis were just trying to liberate the peoples of Eastern Europe from Russian colonization. The Nazis were bold freedom fighters, even if they made mistakes like Judeo-Bolshevism causing them to equate the real evil of the Soviets with innocent Jews.”
My US history class started its coverage of WW2 by teaching us it started when Hitler and Stalin made an alliance to invade Poland together. Which then taints your perception of everything after that.
We’ve gone past clean Wehrmacht and at the rate we’re going through clean SS, we’re like a week away from libs pushing clean Einsatzgruppen
step away from the lathe
this is literally that german skit where the an SS officer in full uniform is getting offended that a civilian thinks he’s a nazi
also youtube is very confused about whether it wants to give me the German or English title huh. Keeps switching between the two
yes! thank you
It is very disgusting how the vehement and relentless anti-communist narratives have become so pervasive and intense that the average liberal when pressed, reaches the conclusion that the people who resisted the nazis were either as bad, or worse than the nazis. Literally praising the SS for “fighting for Ukrainian independence.”
The eu, nato, and the us state department have been accepting, and later promulgating, double holocaust narratives to buy the loyalty of the fascist creatures that dominate Eastern European politics now. And those fascists in eastern europe are themselves largely a nato project, having been protected from soviet and other nazi hunters by nato and funded, equiped, and trained by nato to disrupt the ussr and after the cold war to instill nazi ideology in eastern europe, re-writing history to uphold capitalist hegemony and to advance nato’s long, inexorable plans to conquer russia and strip it for parts.
I believe the eu parliament recognized the 1932 soviet famine, known by nazis and the credulous as the “holodomor”, as a genocide. I believe that makes it a crime to teach history or refute fascist propaganda in some european countries, to say nothing of the laws in much of eastern europe making it a crime to remember or teach the history of the 20th century. International fascism is back, rising again in response to the crises of international capitalism, and this time there are no internationalist communists to save us.
There’s a reason Stalin said what he said.
“Say what you will about Hitler, but he is the guy who killed Hitler.”
Ya but Hitler also killed the guy who killed Hitler, so fuck him.
I was raised in a country that happily did business with nazi germany and dragged ass helping the soviets kill them. That country is probably telling me the honest truth about WW2
fighting for Ukrainian independence
German occupation but who’s counting
I would like to remind everyone that when the 4th Reich finally got their fascist paws on the files of the great and terrible STASI’s records they were able to identify seven extrajudicial murders. Think about that for a moment.
Can I get a source for that? Not doubting you, just want to make the same argument to own the
s
I read it in stasi state or socialist paradise. I’d have to do more research to back it up.
I used to be friends with a guy who would say stuff like this pretty often lmao
So glad I stopped trying to fit in with tech bros now
Crazy how they can be so antisocialist that theyend up rooting for Nazis. As far as im concerned, if you give me two options and one of them is Nazis, there is only one option. Also, a probable Nazi just talked to me and I need to take a shower
Crazy how they can be so antisocialist that theyend up rooting for Nazis.
Yeah weird how that keeps happening
Fasicsm and it’s meeker, prevaricating cousin liberalism are rooted in anti-communism.
Also hilarious that the submission to /r/pics, titled “Zelensky and Trudeau applauding Ukrainian Nazi veteran Yaroslav Hunka in the Canadian parliament.” has only 40 upvotes but 300+ comments.
Downvoting or mods removing the story to reduce visibility, doing damage control in the comments
Fighting against Stalin does not mean you are fighting for nazism
Hitler or Stalin. Pick one because in the 1940s there was no other choice.
So which is it? Dilemma or not?
It is a privilege non-Europeans have… to point at someome and say, you are a Nazi because you wore an SS uniform.
Retrospectively cancelling the British, French, and Soviet judges at the Nuremberg Trials where the SS was determined to be a criminal organization because of the judges’ Non-European privilege.
Actually kinda
that a sub like /r/pics is downvoting this comment and the upvoted comments (that I saw) were mostly good. One upvoted comment was like “How could Russia do this” (sarcastically) and a replier was talking about how he saw people saying that unironically. Is the narrative starting to turn or is it just because applauding a Nazi is actually a bridge too far for them.
I’m really hoping this moment starts to crash the propaganda party line. It’s just so mask-off, it cranks the cognitive dissonance to the breaking point for anyone with a bit of reasoning.
Maybe I’m being too
about it, but I take what I can get these days.
atleast it got downvoted, pretty good for
That poster or that message has been posted multiple times. I wonder if it’s one unhinged ukraine flag emoji asshole or if it’s a bot
