What? I’ve never heard such a thing. CAPTCHA is to make sure bots can’t get past. Humans only.
Who gets asked to solve a CAPTCHA depends, in this case I bet you connected to an exit node known to the system as a bad actor and everyone using that exit gets asked.
Try refreshing your TOR circuit and use a different exit node. Could help.

We’re all in this together.

I know you did, so I went over to double check. Didn’t find any threads.net under the “Blocked instances” section when I searched the “Instances” page. Because blocks have been moved to it’s own tab. The search was running the last few days from what I understand so my first guess is that it’s expecting the 18.5-style instance overview, didn’t find threads.net (again, since it’s under a different tab) and wrongly tagged you.
I’ll link this convo on Mastodon so the creator can check it out.
https://veganism.social/@nm should have added in the desc.
It’s worth noting that this still splits Mastodon pretty much in half.
Not half, much less than that is blocking Meta. It seems the split is ideological, which means there will likely never be a fediverse where we’re all together, alongside Threads. I speak of experience, I went straight to AUTHORIZED FETCH and whitelist on my masto as soon as I saw how many just didn’t care. But I don’t care about Zuckerbots dropping out of my field of view and they’re probably happy they don’t have to deal with someone as paranoid as me; believing that Meta would exploit us given the chance. So, win win?
True, but I got it hot off the press- Creator have been at it since last night so it’s still first edition of dynamic lists. He also said that there was missing information (like what you mention I assume) but wasn’t able to get the info from the instance.
Just like red and green lights! :D
No offense to your post, thanks for sharing…
But I’m just drained of nostalgia and enthusiasm. I grew up with the X-Files. I’ve seen every single episode of the original run at least three times. I have them all collected, including the movies and two damn spin-off series.
But after a decade of everything being remakes, revivals, ressurections, returns… It’s been a rowdy riot of rectal ripping retronostalgic ravaging. I couldn’t care less that there’s talks about more X-Files. If they actually manage to squeeze more out of this dried up sponge I’ll just ignore it.
To the modern media producers all I can say is go choke on your 90’s nostalgia.
“Unlock” the device without being forced to use an account, install custom shell and sync my Wallabag to my Kobo? Heck yeah!
Tbf, gaming monitors usually have higher refresh rate compared to regular monitors. So it’s not just RGB lights and racing stripes that accounts for the extra cost.
That’s… Something else.
Ignorance of history makes me führious.

You assembled it wrong, the two things are supposed to go in the top, not the side.
It is not a delusion if it’s true damn it!
Fucken’ wish that they did. The Brits, back when they were island apes in them Victorian times used to invite visitors to chip off little pieces as souvenirs.
The modern brit is a bit more refined, did they ever settle on that underground highway running under Stonehenge?
The horror is mesmerising.
