It looks fine, I just feel like I am missing a layer of the joke
Is there some joke regarding how this is animated?
Oh, so you do want artists to be able to post their own album art here? Because the current rule does sound like that is not allowed. I do think it should be allowed, but I am not sure of exactly how you might word it to prevent a user from spamming all their music even when the album art is not all that great.
Icy build-up? Is that an American thing that doesn’t affect normal freezers?
Already posted 2 years ago, but I assume that’s fine.
Rule 6 states that the cutoff for reposts is 3 months, so you are safe
I forgot to mention this on my last GIF dump: How would you feel about letting loose on this community a bot that replies this GIF to every 16-syllable comment?
Oh, is that where the name Brave came from?
I am still not seeing the connection to this post
We’re higher up here, so the sun’s electricity is stronger.
And not to be an annoying vegan, but where is the line drawn between gore and a butcher shop? Or a raw steak ready to be cooked?
Technically, Lemmy itself does not support flairs. It is just a feature in a couple particular third-party clients. It is useful for users of those clients, but also implemented in a way that in clients that do not support it, titles will not look weird or anything.
Granted I do not follow the AI art scene or anything, the artstyle itself doesn’t seem like AI art I have seen. It just looks like a digital painting. With that said, other than the fact that I cannot find any information about where the art for this album had come from or who made it, there are a few odd things about it:

Living in 1984 refers to a comic by political cartoonist Gary Varvel depicting a man hearing about Donald Trump’s Twitter account getting suspended and Parler being removed from app stores while turning his calendar and discovering the year is 1984. This is a reference to George Orwell’s 1984, which has become a common reference among conservatives while discussing what they believe is censorship. However, the reference has been mocked as ill-fitting by observers, resulting in the Wow, This Is Just Like 1984 meme. Varvel’s comic has been used as an exploitable online with users replacing the wife’s text.

Theft Detection Lock uses AI, your device’s motion sensors, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth to detect if someone unexpectedly takes your device and runs away. If Theft Detection Lock detects your device is taken from you, it automatically locks your device’s screen to protect its content. For example, if someone grabs the phone out of your hand and they run, bike, or drive away, the Theft Detection Lock may activate.

I presume it waits for an abrupt spike in the accelerometer followed by going out of range of nearby Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth connections. I am curious how well it works, and how often false positives occur.
I am also disappointed that it seems GrapheneOS does not offer a similar feature.
I’m gonna
stealfork it.
The GrapheneOS devs have been working on enabling this with all their hardening tweaks
