Yep, it affects everyone. Think of men who can’t be a stay at home dad, work as a nurse, embarrassed to pick up a pink pen, or can’t show emotion, etc. Women who want to do construction work or STEM. Trans discrimination is just that taken to an extreme because the perceived divergence is more drastic.
Whoever you are, and as straight as someone may be, I can almost guarantee you have been personally affected by the same persecution at some point in your life. This is what gender policing actually is and is also the reason why LGB face discrimination, falling outside of gender norms.
Exactly, I’m a dad with 2 kids, and the “war” on trans people is also a “war” on me. Because your rights are my rights and my rights are your rights. Freedom isn’t a saladbar where you pick the things you like. Freedom only works if it works for all people. Like justice freedom should be blind to race, gender, sexuality, etc.
There is no freedom, without being free to, look, feel, dress, love, etc how you want.
