USian restaurants: no we don’t have any vegan or even vegetarian salads, but if you want we can charge you full price and just not put grilled chicken on top
One of my biggest pet peeves.
A “garden salad” that doesn’t include the ½ inch of shredded cheese in the ingredient list 🤮
Where I am now has pretty solid vegan options on the menu but places I’ve worked that don’t I’ve let front of house know if anyone they serve is vegan I’ll come talk to them and we’ll figure something out. I could do rice bowls of various flavors, burritos, a few pastas, it wasn’t hard to improv a decent dish
