I’m asking IF he had ties to ISIS, hypothetically, was the first Islamic extremist attack on US soil since 9/11? I since did some research because apparently I’m a moron, and I found two: fort Hood shooting in 2009 and Pulse nightclub in 2016. So the answer to the question is, no, it wouldn’t be the first, but why is it so outrageous?

Obviously, we need to wait to hear if he was born in the US or not, but assuming he immigrated, would this be the first major terror attack on the United States by a foreign organization since 9/11?

Trading halts are done automatically by the exchanges anytime any stock falls by a certain amount within a certain time frame. It’s meant to interrupt automatic, algorithmic high frequency trading from a runaway out of control feedback loop - think of it like muting the microphone when the speakers start making that high pitched feedback screech. Give it time. If there’s any justice left in the world it will be a penny stock by the new year.

I love this, I’ll out myself a little for the sake of an example, I used to lurk r/conservative just to read what the current take was. I almost never agreed with anything, but some rare times I did. I think there’s value in being aware of what a different group thinks. A sort of “see what others are saying” option would be a super cool feature. It would be limited to instances that your home server federated with, and it could also respect users individual block lists.

I’m on wefwef (Voyager now) that would be cool to see. I’m also playing around with mlem and Memmy until I decide on a favorite.

+1 for permitherin for an immediate plan. It’s relatively safe and easy to apply around all your doors, windows, perimeter of your home, even your baseboards inside (just keep kids and pets away until it dries). It indiscriminately kills all insects though, so be careful so as to not decimate any good pollinators that you want to keep around. There are some other good long term solutions elsewhere in the thread.
