soliloquy@startrek.websiteto Gaming@beehaw.org•Are game studios suddenly abandoning Black developers?English8·1 year agoPrototype 2 (2012)
It’s been a while, I can’t really remember the game well but I do remember enjoying the prototype games.
I can’t recall too many other games that haven’t already been mentioned here either
I’m here for Voyager for the same reasons. I like the characters, the setting is great to explore situations and themes away from the federations protection and influence. I also like ‘found family’ themes, the crew being one big family that depends on, uplifts and supports one another is just nice
soliloquy@startrek.websitetoTelevision@lemmy.world•[Weekly Thread] What have you been watching?English2·2 years agoI liked the first season of Miracle Workers and wish they would have continued with that concept. I like the idea of anthologies but what the heck was this lol I almost stopped watching it. The title doesn’t make sense anymore I don’t understand why they would name it Miracle Workers if this was always the plan?
The later seasons are fine if anyone’s thinking of picking this up. It’ll just feel like less of a betrayal if you go in knowing it’s an anthology with completely different settings and characters and not a single concept series
soliloquy@startrek.websiteto Games@lemmy.world•Looking for games with strong female leads for my daughter (even just to watch as I play). Came across this link, but they're a bit age-inappropriate. Any suggestions from the community?English6·2 years agoSlime Rancher is a good one. It’s bright, fun, has adorable critters and plenty to do and explore. There’s a sequel too but I’m not sure if it’s released yet or not.
The main character is a silent protagonist though so might not be completely what you’re looking for

Austin was talking to his dad in I think English slang. Without the subtitles if you are not culturally familiar with what they were saying it just sounded like nonsense

Is the mash potatoes? The texture and colour is throwing me off
