But it is arguably the most real (and important) thing in all of physics (or maybe action, which is also some function dependent on energy). the money comparison is fine, if we have different forms of denominations of money (currency notes (different amounts), gold coins, etc) we have different forms of energy quantas.

Here is a viewpoint to understand - almost everything acts in a way to minimise total system energy. this can be (almost) made valid all the time if you include some probablistic factors. (If we take thermodynamics (which is by definition study of dynamics of energy(and heat, which can be considered as some kind of raw energy), then we include entropy, which is basically finding how many ways can a particular energy can achieved.). This is not a very rigorous way to put it all, but basically all of physics basically works on energy. Forces are basically caused by some kind of gradient in energy.

what they basically say is that (and this is only valid for people using tor or mullvad browser with stock settings) if everyone has the same fingerprint, and if you dont sign in to anything else, they basically look same to the websites, so you dont have to use some privacy frontend, it is ot adding in any benefit. However, these conditions deffenitely are not that easy to meet for day to day use.

You can do 2 things - install a custom rom or de-enshittyify

From what i got from checking - there is not any rom already present, you can try to make one yourself, but that is a hard process

to de-enshittyify - you can start with UAD https://github.com/Universal-Debloater-Alliance/universal-android-debloater-next-generation.

• first boot into phone (and dont connect to internet) and enable dev mode

• then connect to desktop and open UAD, and it will give a long list apps which you can consider from removal (with deifferent degrees of recommendations)

• you may also disable remove google play services at your risk (google apps, and banking stuff would not work, but better battery life and privacy)

• after doing this, also remove any xaomi skin apps (can be done with UAD, in case it does not find anything, check the unknown section too) (phone, sms, message, …) these are usually forked from aosp, but with added “features”

• replace these apps with fdroid equivalent (a good family of apps is fossify https://www.fossify.org/, and also use newpipe)

I am a bit experienced, so I can do it all in 1.5 hours, if you have not done this before, maybe 2-3 hours, and you will have a clean phone, largely devoid of closed source apps

I have recentlly created a data directory in my home dir, and moved almost everything I need to it. Even configs and program data are in it somewhere I find ok, and symlinked to the xdg dirs (I know i can make my new location the xdg dir for config and data, but this way I selectively add stuff to my now main config, so it remains more pristine)

I have basically the same machine (7730u instead of 7735u) - works great (go into bios and set power saving mode (default is smart cool, which is not that great, I had higher power consumption at idle) and disable psp)

AMD vs Intel - does not really matter - try to find performance/price ratio and pick better one. Also, go on lenovo configurator site, yoou maybe able to find (or spec up) the same laptop for even cheaper (I got mine for about $400)
