Personally saying that socialism is half-dead seems like a good description to me. It was also seen as an improvement from being totally dead in that interview. Adam himself is a union guy so he definitely seems not defeatist.

When was he critical of socialism? I saw him once interview a socialist who said socialism in the USA was on life-support. That’s all I could find.

A boycott or strike with an end date is seldom effective.

Aye. My personal take is that both must be condemned as horrific. The Youtuber is wrong to call it “just a symbol”. I didn’t see any discussion of the $8 billion in arms anywhere though, which struck me as bizarre. Perhaps it is just due to a filter bubble.

The Youtuber voting for the Green Party of all things was certainly dumb as hell.
