I might be alone, but I don’t want or need a huge amount of users. I’d rather discuss the subjects I want to talk about with a smaller group of users. It would be nice to have some familiarity in the comments as well. On the big subreddits, your comment was practically guaranteed to be lost in the sea of thousands of comments unless you were the first to comment, or had bots upvoting you. If I want my comments to be lost, I’ll comment on a Tiktok video.
I think we reached peak smartphone a while ago. The newer ones don’t really do anything new, more just shuffling features around or on the top-level flagships, a better CPU or camera. On the mid-range you don’t even really get camera improvements except sometimes a bigger number.
I wonder how many of those comments were actually bots or nowadays generated by AI!
You’re thinking too short-term. A central business district doesn’t have to be like we see it in the US. It can be vibrant and filled with cafés and restaurants and parks as well that give it life in the evenings and weekends.
