I’m 18 and fine with my parents knowing where I am so we can coordinate mealtimes and stuff. I really don’t care for having a third party spy on me 24/7 though. We just Signal each other “I’m at xyz location, be back soon” and that’s plenty enough.

Mine works perfectly otherwise too, thinking of giving it to my grandma so she can use it at home. Huge shame…

Dude did you get the HP Envy x360 too? My hinge failed a year in, I got the panel replaced, a year later the hinge fails again. My screen hasn’t cracked but I can’t close the laptop anymore… Gonna get a Thinkpad L14 and hope it holds up a bit better, since Thinkpads are known for decent build quality.

I’m studying to be a doctor specifically to avoid working for hugely unethical corporations. Even if I end up in the private sector (public healthcare is mostly free here), it’ll be easier to justify saving lives vs. working for a defense contractor.

All the time. At this point I’m waiting to replace my second hand iPad with an Android tablet so I can achieve a truly optimal YT experience.
