  • High rise pantyhose tend to be very comfortable as long as it isn’t too hot. They’re nice because they don’t slide down. Most have some extra elastic that helps keep your belly looking smoother and flatter, as well as keeping the lines from showing.

My issue with low rise is that if it’s not up to your waist there’s a higher risk of them sliding down. It’s super uncomfortable when you’re walking and the crotch of your pantyhose is now halfway down your thigh. There’s no good way to fix it either without going to the bathroom to adjust. Slipping does depend quite a bit on your build, the pantyhose size and type, and the brand, so trial and error will find you the best ones.

Best of luck finding good hose!

Ok just being on the west coast doesn’t narrow this topic down at all.

Are you looking for prepared tea, loose leaf, or bubble tea? Depending on which city you are close to there are tons of great local options.

For loose leaf tea in bulk, I usually go to an Asian grocery store. They tend to have pretty affordable loose leaf options that a tasty.

When looking for something specific, I try and find a local tea shop to browse the loose leaf variety.

If you’re in a pinch and need some bagged tea, most grocery stores carry Celestial Seasonings. Their herbal teas rock, my favorite is the peppermint!

  • Avenue 5 is a brilliant dark sci-fi comedy that I cannot stop thinking about. It’s basically a cruise ship in space but then things go wrong. The physics are actually sound which makes for some really fun and terrifying gags. It’s heavy on dark humor, but if you’re ok with that it’s such a fun ride. I am biased but I feel like this show is criminally underrated.

  • Part of the reason why I was soooo disappointed that So I’m a Spider, So What? Got such a poor adaptation. She starts out very low level and has to grind, so all of the power she gets feels earned.

    Minor spoiler

The whole class gets reincarnated into other roles and there is tension between those who adapted to their new roles and society and those that don’t. I really enjoyed their interactions because it’s a constant plot point and their past lives drive a lot of their choices.

  • I am just here to shill for Delicious in Dungeon. It’s a dungeon based anime that isn’t an isekai! Shocking, I know. The characters are really charming, there’s good world building, and while the plot is a slow burn, it’s super compelling. Also the adaptation is being done by Studio Trigger. Why are you still reading this, go watch Delicious in Dungeon!

  • Animorphs rocked my world as a kid. It was a scifi series marketed to children but dealt with really dark topics. The lighter topics were what is family when stuff like divorce and aliens replacing your family members. Then some of the books delved into serious moral questions like, what does it mean to spare a life if that person is at risk of betraying you and your team, to should we drag an unrelated species into our war even if it’s against their values. The whole overall plot follows child soldiers who were unwittingly drafted into a intergalactic war that they cannot tell anyone else about and the trauma that brings about. The series surprisingly didn’t try and lighten the weight of the moral choices presented too much. While the protagonists were always “in the right”, they were constantly forced to cope with the consequences of their choices.

  • If you want to get into things but are unsure how to get started, I recommend checking out your local community college. Having a class is nice because it provides the starting point and goal so you don’t get overwhelmed with where to start. I find I really benefit from the schedule that taking classes enforces, otherwise I find myself really struggling to make progress when I do learning on my own. Also it comes with its own built in community that you can reach out to if you’re stuck. Classes tend to be really affordable so it’s a way to try things out casually.
