That’s glucose (and also fructose). The formula in the meme is for sucrose. All three are common sugars that you eat. Table sugar is sucrose, but glucose is what plants create during photosynthesis which is probably where you came across its formula.

I am in awe

It would stretch like a rubber band stretches just a lot less. Wood, metal, whatever is slightly flexible. The stick would either get slightly thinner or slightly less dense as you pulled it. Also, you won’t be able to pull it much because there’s so much stick.

I usually use the “all” feed of Lemmy and have blocked a few of the vegan communities just because of how toxic many of the posts were. This is all from stumbling across them and never seeking them out. It’s really sad because seeing things like vegan recipes and food substitute ideas is something I’d love in my feed.

Depends on where you are. There’s actually a big Hispanic community where I am in NoVA, and while I haven’t explored as much as I should, I at least found a pupusa restaurant near me that seems legit, and there are plenty of Peruvian places.

You should at least have backups. And if you have gas where you live, a CO detector. Balls and breasts can be good fun but definitely aren’t necessary.
