Yeah, since it’s just a hardened fork of Firefox, I found switching really easy. Didn’t try out sync tho, so ymmv.
Neat. I hadn’t heard of NixOS before. Will have to check it out!
Of course, tovarish!
Nice. There’s definitely a learning curve, but it’s much easier these days with so many online support communities.
The hardest part of a journey is taking the first step. :)
Yeah, if you want to minimize tinkering, running Linux on a VM might be best. Check out UTM, and you can get Debian right from their Gallery page. Linux Mint is another good option, but it may run a little slower, since its not built for Apple silicon.
It’s pretty good. I’ve used Linux Mint in the past, and haven’t noticed any jarring differences. Then and now I picked Cinnamon for my DE, and if anything it looks more polished than it did before.
Pick up The Buru Quartet. Although the massacres in 1965-66 caused damage that’s still visible even today, they fell short of eradicating the spirit of the PKI.
As more and more of Norway’s energy flows to German grids, Norwegian energy prices are climbing ever higher for locals. Norway has cheap and abundant energy thanks to prodigious hydropower resources, and locals are none too happy about sacrificing their cheap energy prices to keep German lights on. …
The Norwegian government is now considering a control mechanism to limit exports. If Norway decides to limit or completely curtail its energy flows to the European Union, it would be catastrophic for the bloc. Norway was the continent’s third biggest energy exporter last year.

Um, don’t do anything that would get you in prison. But do what you need to take care of yourself. Do you have anyone or any resources you can rely on?
China bad because China good? Got it.
Great advice there from comrade SadArtemis. All I’d add is that whatever route you go, you can reduce your anxiety by practicing what you’ll say.
Write down the main points you want to cover, then practice explaining them, making sure to keep within whatever time limit you have. It may take a few rounds, but you’ll be much more comfortable and confident as a result.
You’ve got this comrade!
Sadly no. I just saw they have it archived, but after the change was made.
Yep, it does what I need it to without much fuss. :)
