You are correct. Hollywood will simply change up a couple things and then use the assets.

However, I‘m still undecided about how I think about whether generating AI art should count as Human-generated or not. On one hand, people can spend hours if not days or week perfecting a prompt with different tools like ControlNet, different promptstyles and etc. On the other hand, somebody comes up to midjourney, asks for a picture of a dragon wearing a T-Shirt and immediately gets an image that looks pretty decent. It’s probably not exactly what they wanted, but close enough, right? AI gets you 90% there what you want, and the other 10% is the super-hard part that takes forever. Anyway, sorry for dumping my though process from this comment chain on here xD

a damaged storage disk can mean suspension faliure? maybe that’s why my desktop isn’t sleeping properly sometimes and the ssd throwing weird errors

i totally agree with that whack-a-mole analogy. what, you’re on debian or any debian-based distro? well, my friend, good luck ever waking up from suspend! no error logs, no crash reports, nothing. So i’m on arch right now. Annoying, because i prefer getting stuff done instead of yelling at my bluetooth driver, but at least the nvidia drivers work most of the time :)

The reason is (what I was told) because they don’t have as fine-grained control of Firefox as they have with Chrome on Windows.

TBH I feel this is the main reason - a lot of “protests” in Germany (where I live) which consist of a small group of people that glue themselves to streets and runways; there is so much reporting on these, it feels very pushed.

Kind of unrelated to beer, but for me it was playing Undertale. Not kidding, I played the game after it sitting around for months, nearly blind, and it completely changed my perspective on not just games, but also life(???). So yeah, wasn’t expecting that.
