  • I want to do it because it’s how a real TTRPG would play out. Your DM isn’t going to let you reload when combat goes poorly. It’s more about pride than it is honor.

That being said, I started my run with that mentality and I changed my tune quickly. I try to not abuse it as much, but I feel like I’m missing out on fun side quests or something if I fail to pick a lock or screw up a conversation.

Absolutely no judgement on people that save scum. No leaderboards. No MMR. You have your own fun.

  • The friend group tried to play D&D over discord and it was like pulling teeth to get everyone online at the same time. I typically like having multiple players in games like this because it makes it more fun to actually play AS the character because we all have different motives/mindsets.

I’m doing a solo campaign first while I’m impatient, then I’ll do a group campaign when everyone can actually get together.

  • Another World Tier would be ideal to make the 80-100 gap not feel so shitty.

A horde mode/boss rush game type like Halls of Torment or Vampire Survivors. Give me upgrades that only work for the run, but as you kill more and more you get some kind of currency that can be used to purchase permanent gear for your character. I guess it’s just Helltides with ramping difficulty and density.

Paladin/crusader is a must at this point. I’ve missed monk from D3 and hope it returns at some point. I’d like for them to make some kind of turret building/tinker class fit thematically. Give me bombs and junk!
