Right, I’m saying the comic strip is not how atheist parents generally are. We usually talk to them not ground them from technology. That’s what a lot of us experienced with our religious upbringings.

I’m getting Walmart ads (normal for me) and a lot of ads for intermittent fasting (odd). I’m in the US.
Right… I don’t know if this comic is supposed to be satire but most atheist parents don’t raise their children like that.

Our version of this ride at Michigan Adventure requires a height of 44 inches. My kid was 5 (almost 6) in June and was 45 inches. He’s particularly small. It was his favorite ride. I’ll be putting my arm around him next time we ride it.
Only the tiniest of children are severely limited at amusement parks. A lot of 6 year olds hit 48 inches and can ride basically anything.
I wish I knew like anybody. I don’t know my neighbors and they don’t seem that friendly. My direct next door neighbor is shy like me, we get along well but we never socialize. Also we’re the only young (I mean not that young I’m almost 30 lol) people in our neighborhood. Everyone else is 60+ and not accepting of younger generations just being different (like how we use technology even and won’t send our kids to mow their lawn for 50 cents). I wish we had a multigenerational community where they acted like a good family like in Stardew Valley.

If you use these trackers and barge in “hey I saw what you did on the internet, you’re in trouble.” then you’re doing it wrong. Kids need guidance. If you were negligent enough to let your kid roam the city without supervision, you SHOULD have a tracker on them. We’re talking about little kids not 16+. Many young kids get themselves killed or groomed or into some kind of cult online. When that happens to young kids, parents are negligent. When 12 year olds get addicted to porn, negligence. You can guide your children without being an asshole. I know a lot of us grew up either completely neglected or completely terrified to make a mistake, but there is an in-between.
That’s like the worst thing I’ve ever read. I couldn’t finish. Normally I don’t believe in the death penalty but I would consider it here. Humans who not only try to kill but torture are just useless and don’t deserve life.
