I’d never heard of him until a couple of years ago I saw a video of his version of Black Sabbath’s, Changes, right here on Reddit.
This is great
Same in the UK :-(
Saw them when this album came out. On with The The, I think. V good.
It’s all good now, thanks.

Yes, that’s a 9V battery compartment.
Ok, I’ve just realised how blonde I’ve been: the volume/tone and pick-up selector knobs were stopping the control panel from lifting off. They just pull off and then all is fine.
Unfortunately, the switch and pot are soldered into the PCB board, which would make it a bit trickier to replace them. I’m pretty happy with soldering wires but I’ve never tackled a PCB board.
Thanks for the suggestion. The bit with the strings in is separate.
Here’s a Dropbox link to a video of me gingerly pulling the control plate around (which wouldn’t upload to Lemmy, in the OP). https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/v7n74q9m252hxrc17f7eb/IMG_0808.mp4?rlkey=qau7d4zum0qswswwngkivenvc&dl=0
No, Orange do full-size separate heads and cabs
Yes, I think the US pint is 16 Oz (2 cups), whereas the UK pint is 20 Oz (4 gills).
Good idea to go for push-push over push pull. I have them on different guitars and push-push is quicker and easier.
I haven’t found any manufacturers that do push-push with triple pole double throw, though.
I also put a free-way pup selector on a strat copy, which is an alternative to switchable pots. https://sixstringsupplies.co.uk/collections/guitar-switches/brand_free-way
Yes, that’s true. Keychain Access helps a lot.
My understanding is that your GF will be using Apple’s KeyChain, which is pretty good except that it’s hard to look inside and manually edit. It’s not just in Safari.
The upcoming Password app is just a nice user interface to KeyChain. So no change to the functionality as such, but I think it’ll make a big difference to how it’s used.
This has changed since I did biology. I remember:

…same feeling about Shottr for the Mac. It has much nicer editing features than the standard Mac system and you can add extra screenshots or files.
Yes, it would be clearer if the % was after each category in the legend.
I’d remove the machine head/tuners on the bad side too. There will probably be a nut on the other side that you can undo and the tuners will just pull through. That will give you more working room and allow you to get the glue along the whole crack.
I’m less sure about this one but you could, very carefully slide something like a knife to open the crack out a little. The is might allow the glue to flow in better. If your glue is runny, it might not make that much of an improvement, so perhaps not worth risking cracking it off completely. (Although the glue will be plenty strong enough, if you take off the broken part it might not be easy to line it back up properly. If it’s still attached, you’ll be right.)
FWIW I once cycled 3 miles home with a new guitar too. It was in a heavy flight case and I thought it would be fine to carry it under one arm and wobble back one handed.
…I had to think about that one!
Another one common one:
