I just cast from whichever app I was using. For instance, I have the HBO app on my phone, I open it, find what I want to watch, and cast from there. I think the change is that you can cast your screen now whereas previously, I only was able to use screensharing with my Samsung TV.

I think the crackdown is on certain types of devices and in phases. The first devices locked out were my android/google TV devices. A few weeks later, my xbox was locked out. My android phone still works, but can’t cast to the TV now. Apple TV and ipad still work. Need to try the PC.

Because back in the 50s everyone had a growth mindset. Rightfully so, because the population was increasing, and women went to work. Now populations are beginning to shrink, so markets are bound to shrink with it if it continues with the same mindset.

I take the train to work since my job pays for it, but I’m not going to pretend like it’s faster than driving through traffic. If I drive, door to door takes 30 - 45 minutes depending on the time I leave. If I take public transportation, door to door it takes an hour and 15 minutes no matter what.
