Groovy! This is on my list for next winter and I’ve always enjoyed turn based more than real time for rpgs.

Ha, yeah that connection capability made me switch from Qobuz. (My receiver has an app that connects to Deezer, no such luck with Qobuz.)
And fully agree on the playlists, I’ve really dug a few already.
I don’t know if it hits all your needs but I switched to Deezer a couple of weeks ago and I really dig it.
Free trial month and absurdly easy to import all your stuff from spotify, so I’d just give it a shot and see if it scratches your itch!
I had to double check that Monster cigarettes weren’t actually a thing.
Gotta love that clean bill of health!
Sounds like a groovy time for both of you! A six lane road though?!? Are those common where you are? I can think of a handful that aren’t a highway in my city.
It’s been great thanks! Putting the (hopefully) finishing touches on a massive chunk of code for a work project. Also switched to Deezer (part of dropping all my American stuff) and found they have all the weird little folk punk my last few streaming services didn’t have.
May go swim some laps with a buddy tonight which is always a good preface to make the night’s beers feel earned. And then taking it easy cleaning and cooking tomorrow as my rec league soccer team finds ourselves in the Finals and Lord knows we’ve wanted these champion shirts for awhile. Strongest team I’ve ever played with, but it’s terrifying as I’m a decade older than most and not as good with the footwork but I’m still fast and play a mean/hard centre D role which is nerve wracking but fun as hell.
I love a good jerk chicken:

Honestly, I’ve had a lot of success recently using LLMs for suggestions like this plus whatever I have in my fridge. Came up with a tasty siracha maple and maple mustard pair when I saw a deal on shitty bulk maple syrup.
They’ve really let me take advantage of deals and sales etc.
A couple things that I’ve found: Going through all my apps, even the free ones. Checking whether the company is, at some end of the chain, American and if so, finding an alternative app.
Writing letters to my local stores, asking them either to improve their Canadian signage or about the availability of more Canadian goods.
The next one I’m starting is working out how to host a jellyfin server as I’ve made a deal with some of my non techy friends that if I can figure out how to host whatever they’re streaming, they’ll cancel the relevant American subscriptions.
Finally, trying to make un American or open source projects/environments/alternatives better, e.g., participating on Blue Sky or here.
Regardless, thanks for your efforts and keep up the good fight!
Year to date, stocks are down. 1 calendar year though, most are still up.
I’d say it’s a few things:
Stock market loves de-regulation. (Fewer rules -> more profit.
Stock market loves the promise of corporate tax cuts.
Even with tarrifs and nonsense, most American stock indices are heavily skewed to the magnificent 7, all of which besides Tesla are fairly immune to global trade.
When you gear an entire economy to war, you simultaneously run the risk of economic collapse and conquering. It’s what happened to the Soviet Union in '89, the economy was in shambles but militarily they were still a powerhouse.
Late 20s. Full head of hair, putting on muscle happened almost accidentally etc.
I’m in better shape now but if I trained then like I have to now…
This is such a good description that I am almost salivating.
Personally, I’ve enjoyed it everytime I’ve been eating them but felt very sick afterwards. Which is fair. If there weren’t consequences I would soon have difficulties fitting into a vehicle.
What a sad way to spend your time.
I hope things get better in your life.
I think you might be missing a few things.
First, sure there’s probably some minor feedback but really, outside of luxury goods (which neither Apple or Google are at this point) more customers is seen as better by investors/the market.
Yes, the market is all theatre but amazingly, it’s theatrics to which a great deal of attention is paid. The more share prices of magnificent 7 stocks drop, the more that affects those who have actual power and influence.
Heck, forget abandoning smartphones, living in a cave would be the ultimate way to not contribute to America. But most folks want to balance their morals with a functional life, which for many includes a smartphone.
If you want to slap back, instead of trying desperately to convince maybe a handful of folks to switch to dumb phones over tarrifs, much better to help a lot of people make incremental but helpful changes.
Man, Ukraine needs to stop goading Russia by having so many innocent civilians.
/s just in case I guess?
Yippie kay yay!
