Idk man, I have a friend who’s almost 40 and he skates all the time (though he did start when he was younger). From what I understand, you just have to learn how to fall correctly, like, rolling with the momentum. Unless you have issues with bone density or something, I say go for it!

Funny timing, I just got done reading an article on NPR titled “Why can’t we stop homelessness? 4 reasons why there’s no end in sight.” None of the 4 reasons were “it’s a feature, not a bug.”

But I watched this kick-ass show from Boots Riley the other day called “I’m a Virgo,” and it features a character who does fantastic takedowns of capitalism, including an explanation as for why capitalism needs homelessness as part of the climax in the final episode. Unfortunately i can’t find a clip on YouTube or I’d post it.
