I’m sorry but “project documentation should not be discussed in a GitHub issue or pr” is what you’re going with?? Where the fuck else would you discuss it?

They didn’t make a “report”, I think the word you’re looking for is “issue”. What they did was open a “pull request” that got rejected. So more of a “hey I made a small change to make everything more inclusive that will not affect you in any way” and the dev said “please don’t be political here”.
The person suggesting the change wasn’t being political but the dev was by rejecting the change
They use GitHub sponsors. There is a link to support them listed in the readme on their GitHub.
That’s almost exactly what I’m looking for! Do you use their mobile apps to listen to podcasts? I didn’t see anywhere in their docs about exposing RSS feeds for podcasts to allow usage of existing podcasts apps.
Might just make my own to achieve that, I essentially just want a man in the middle archive of all the podcasts I am subscribed to so I can continue to use my existing podcast clients
Three cars, two new “extra” menu books to cover two of the three cars added, a new livery, and two new scapes.
Still haven’t felt like they are delivering on post launch content. When the majority of your players are running the same few races over and over because the game pays out an order of magnitude higher for them than and other race you have a problem.
You could cross post which would reduce spam but even then the point of federation is that a post on one instance will make its way to the other instances and share the same comments.
This is a much better version of what you want to do, isn’t spammy. What does your bot achieve that federation didn’t? Other than you controlling the content?
I hope your learning comes swiftly
They defederated with multiple large lemmy instances (lemmy.world and another I don’t remember). They also did this in an asymmetric way making themselves an island whose content gets sent out into the fediverse but who doesn’t listen to updates for the content that gets sent out.
If I comment on a beehaw post as a lemmy.world user, my comment will only live on lemmy.world and not the rest of the fediverse because of what beehaw did
Same, been using it for years with no issues at all
I’ve been using this docker container to manage the VPN connection and transmission and it’s been fantastic https://github.com/haugene/docker-transmission-openvpn
I think you’re greatly underestimating how many non large corporations just host their shit in US-East 1.
