Pricing seems reasonable. I went to a dealer and out the door is about 9.5k in my area. The other used ones in the area are listed around the same. This one is the 2021 model with the new LED lights so I don’t mind paying a little more than the other models.

His credit union is local so we can go there and hopefully get everything done there. I will not do the sale unless I’m guaranteed they send me the title or at least release it to me. Also, I would be paying them directly, not trusting him with the money. I think it should work out right? 🤣

I did notice the GSX 8S has an absolutely hideous taillight setup which I’m sure someone out there is working on a tail tidy that will work. If I saw an MT07 with only 800 miles I’d probably jump on it too. It seems like right now in my area used prices are not worth it and I may just buy new.

I used RackNerd for a small personal instance. Works very well and is cheap.

Apollo has been deleted, Reddit app remains deleted. Memmy has taken Apollo’s spot. Feels good.

Twitter as a social media discussion platform is trash. Mastodon suffers from the same issue. The reality is those kinda of platforms rely on central figures (ie. Celebrities) to form interest.

A forum-like experience (ie. Reddit) is more reliant on community and discussion. So platforms like Kbin and Lemmy have a much better chance of gaining more traction.
