It’s rarely two 9-5 M-F jobs that add up to 40 hours a week.
It’s usually a combination of a primary job that is just below the threshold of full time and therefore doesn’t qualify for basic benefits like health insurance, paid time off, or retirement <32 hours.
Usually the second job is in the evening and weekends. Service jobs, retail, etc. Often the schedule varies wildly and changes often.
Typically both jobs are paid hourly and can end at any time.
A lot of people work much more than 40 hours per week, but don’t have the security of a full time, salaried job.
Having lived in NYC, I completely agree, but Boston would like to have a word.
I was craving the clarity and forward thinking that the MTA has compared to the MBTA.
Thanks for posting this.

I’ve been getting these emails and someone in the comments section said you can delete your account without accepting the new T&S. Just log in and click “I Do Not Accept”. I used the link one of the emails to reset my password and deleted my account. I clicked on the option to download your content first and it gave me a link and a download WITHOUT having to accept new T&S.
Turns out, I had six photos of model rockets. The LLM maw can have 'em.

you can keep him.
Don’t want your ski trip to the French alps to get interrupted.

Trump’s second assassin was an entertaining read.

Oh, yeah? Hold my kombucha!
The Dems literally have to be blackmailed by Mossad or they are truly the most incompetent political party in history.
It’s very likely that it’s both.
Damn. That takes me back in time!
I remember being outraged by that. I went to protests with people who were also outraged by that.
It was a driver for me to go out and find what little media was outraged about it, too, which at the time was Maddow and Majority Report.
Hearing that the Democrats are using the same argument is shocking, because it was plain as day that was not even an argument based on reality. The whole time I thought those people in the media shared that same understanding of reality. Apparently not.
Brat nuclear winter, baby!
Give a person the freedom to express and love themselves, and they’ll find a partner who loves them for who they are and shares their interests. Then they’ll both find ways to spend as much time as possible with each other and grow old together.

I don’t have a position on this. I’m just trying to clarify what was said:
CIA leaker caught with no known motive.
The same day, an Air Force Reservist was sentenced for leaking to impress friends online.
CIA guy leaked specific information about the strike and nothing else.
Commander Cosplay leaked a bunch of random stuff he thought would get him a date.
The motives for Rahman’s alleged leaks weren’t immediately clear.
I was also confused at the end and had to reread it a couple of times. The “author” was piggybacking off the second-to-last paragraph.
Tinder match = internet friends.
As a former copywriter, the thought that news editors are allowed to write this way and claim it’s both readable, and in accordance with vernacular grammar style, makes me irrationally angry.
I think she sweeps all swing states. All seven.
I didn’t see it as woo-woo, I think they were just pointing out that the billionaire class used the “wokeness” issue to distract from any scrutiny by the working class.
