I went down the street to the 24-hour grocery. When I got there, the guy was locking the front door. I said, ‘Hey, the sign says you’re open 24 hours.’ He said, ‘Yes, but not in a row.’

Thanks. I’m still figuring all this stuff out.
I didn’t know till …tomorrow.
Never weren’t.
New Republic is a lousy source. They always sensationalize for the left. They don’t do their own journalism. The graphic design might have you thinking otherwise but it’s like so many other contemporary sources, just trying to punch up links to original sources.
Overall, we rate the New Republic Left biased based on story selection and editorial positions that frequently favor the left. We also rate them High for factual reporting due to proper sourcing of information and a clean fact check record.

I’m not saying some left bias isn’t okay but that’s possibly one of the most egregious bias meters I’ve seen on media bias fact check. At least they’re using factual sources to build from but their entire model is addicted to leapfrogging off actual journalism.
All that and they’re still playing to right-wing propaganda talking points. Stop wasting your time with this source, folks.

How do readers access Ghost? I got sucked into a trial membership but I don’t intend to publish, just read, like I can do on substack. I don’t want to be on the problematic platform but can’t figure out how to gradually use Ghost instead, especially since hardly anyone’s over there yet.
I’m following everyone from substack and every other resource on RSS. Nothing dead about it. Maybe someone is unhappy with their particular way of accessing it? I’ve used Feedly ever since Google ruined their own reader. Google abandoned a lot of things during that period of innovation.
Ha, it was a party phrase in SF in the 90s. Amongst my 3 friends anyways. But yes, now I’m going to the gulags.
You can’t have everything. Where would you put it?
Was just re-reading how Manafort installed Putin’s stooge before Zelensky. Trump seemed to have thought that’s who he could just call up and get to do his bidding. I’m saying he probably thought he was calling Yanukovych even though Manafort was his own stooge. I mean, that’s moronic and all but, it tracks, considering what we know now.
