HardlightCereal got banned from Raddle for doxing someone. The site’s primary admin quite literally uses they pronouns. That doesn’t preclude enbypobia in itself but should at least make you question what HardlightCereal’s actual goal is without more evidence.

Ok here’s my take from someone who hasn’t played them in probably close to 2 decades, didn’t actually own them but just played with a friend who owned it. But I did love the series at least enough that I still have impressions of my feels from over 20 years ago.

I remember loving playing Twisted Metal 2. I can remember sitting in front of the TV plating the single and multiplayer. I can’t remember the specifics of much more beyond very basic mechanics but there is a very positive emotion. My memory of Twisted Metal 3 is just disappointment and blandness.

I didn’t get much time with either game but I remember having the choice between them and choosing 2 over 3 consistently.

If a large chunk of people are in a similar situation as me, only vague limited impressions from long ago, give their opinions you their opinion over more than a decade you build a very negative image.

Throw in people just discovering the games and being told 2 is good and 3 is bad. They then compare maybe minutes of the gameplay before deciding which to play and reinforce the narrative. You can end up with a fan base with an unjustly harsh view.

I can honestly see 3 being just kind of mediocre and just being judged awful because of how good 2 was.

I think you would have a massive uphill struggle to argue Reddit’s moderators are employees in court. Without that no back pay and no union.

No idea. I can see not up voting it. I think it’s a bit of a non-story. Country looks to maybe join a group containing it’s some of it large trading partners. This group might or might not do something on the future. Only interesting bit is it’s the BRICS.

Some subs went into restricted posting mode and made it so the only post in the past 2 days is that Reddit is killing 3rd-party apps. I’m not sure how you are expecting r/all to actually look. Even if every major subs closed their doors forever, as long as there is any activity on the site r/all will be populated.

I could see a corp like Microsoft or Google or someone else seeing long term value in federated services. They could create a service utilizing the technology and spread it to their user base. Slowly add in some special sauce to their own version of it to attract more people to their part of it. Then break compatibility with everything else to stop someone from stealing users back.

Meh. Lawyers represent unsavory clients all the time. I think Trump’s treatment of his lawyers is the issue for most. Using them as political spokespersons and his reputation of not paying.

My guess is it’ll go like this:

Trump: Judge, I can’t find a lawyer with the skills to represent me.

Judge: Give me the list of people you tried to get to represent you.

The judge looks over the list see someone they knows.

Judge: Mr. X is appointed to Trump’s lawyer team and will be paid 1.2 x [standard rate]. Trump will put Y amount into escrow to ensure payment.

Add some rules about what exactly the appointed lawyer will do and done. Trump can’t argue for improper representation later.

I think that is an actual threat if he can’t find an expert. The judge might assign someone if he can’t find one himself just to avoid that.

Seems like pretty standard variable pricing. Nice most of the time if you can match your electricity demand with price drops. But I do think this kind of pricing is what caused some massive power bills for some people when the Texas grid collapsed in 2021.
