Is anyone here interested in starting a community (or communities) for musicians/bands to discuss live gigs, recording, amps, pedals, gear, kits, setup, strike, merch providers, booking gigs, etc?

Friendly suggestion to use lemmy.studio if you’re planning to create those communities, we’re trying to create a themed instance focusing on music production, composition, sharing, collaboration, etc.

Is that a different app?
It’s the same app, but a different instance. To create a community in lemmy.studio you need to have an account there, but to subscribe and post to the communities you can have an account in any instance (like yours, lemmy.world).
