I’m brand new to Lemmy and the Fediverse so forgive me if this post isn’t perfect. I’m learning pipe organ on my church and it’s such a thrill to play hymns and to learn serious organ repertoire. AMA

Have you heard the piece Alluvions en flamme by Lacote? A friend of mine was working on that piece. I think it’s the perfect balance of modern music and what the organ can do.

Hey! That’s cool, how did you get into playing? I love the sound of the instrument, especially the dronier side like Kali Malone’s work, but I’ve never had the chance to play one myself
