Proud to be subscriber #16! I don’t understand why there aren’t more people migrating here due to reddit api debacle. Why would we run to another centralized platform, YT Gangnam style, instead of this in case of emergency?

    Because they would lose their power. This is why any advocacy for a lemmy/kbin backup is immediately downvoted. Most of the subs minus the OG holders are bots.

    Hi there! Same I would think the SS crowd would be the first in line to be third party apps users and protest the upcoming changes. Is what it is, I have a feeling things will slowly migrate regardless. Also be sure to check out https://Lemmy.whynotdrs.org
