Here’s what I love best: pretend the positions of the characters also line up between the two photos as well. Some of them work pretty well, and some work too well:

    Zhaan/Crusher
Chiana/Troi - Yeah, I know you thought Zhaan should be with Troi but the neckline and also there’s probably no one in TNG crew you could make chaotic good but if you had to pick, it’d be Troi.
Crais/Riker - Facial hair, of course.
D’Argo/Worf - No, you’re wrong! It is actually Sun/Worf. She is clearly chief of security.
    D’Argo/Data - Yes, good. I’m sure D’Argo loves cats.
    Scorpius/Geordi - Biohackers.
Rygel/Picard - Most definitely in charge and acting like it. Don’t let anybody tell you different.
Crichton/Yar - You… you can’t see Tasha Yar in the TNG photo? She’s right there in the… weird. I mean she was in the show from the first episode to the last one and she held the whole group together. She flies the shuttle. That’s like… that’s Crichton’s whole thing. I don’t see how you can’t… you really can’t see her?

I don’t think its a question of quality but more the crew of the enterprise were known to work together like a well olied machine whereas the crew of the leviathan um, well…

    Hey, that’s my meme!

(I don’t mind, I reaped sufficient karma on the website we don’t speak of, just funny coming across it in the wild.)

I did a bit of googling and I’ll be damned, looks like even the official Roddenberry Productions Facebook/Instagram account picked it up. OK, that’s it, I peaked, my life is all downhill from there.

Or, replace the bottom with Star Trek: Picard. A show made by people who had never seen Star Trek before.

I’ve heard that’s true for seasons one and two, but that it turns around in the third. The advice I got from otherwise disappointed Trek fans is that it is worth watching if you skip straight past the first two seasons.

I think a lot of groups would try to play it like the episode “Crackers Don’t Matter,” but a lot would end up coming out more like an episode of Lexx.
