Something commonly left out is that the donald sub was already inactive at this point, its users already fled to some other shithole in anticipation of being ban. The chapo sub was definitely explicitly targeted for being leftist.

Our default “main” comm was shuttered I want to say a year in, in an attempt to get people to post to the many smaller and inactive comms. Instead of that happening, this became the new default comm.
