    I could not renew online (not sure why it wouldn’t let me). You need an appointment in my state now. Before this change, it was an all-day affair. I.e. get there before it opens, stand in an extremely long line that wraps around all 3 sides of the building, and stand in line for most the day (in the extreme heat, in the summer).
