Don’t have much more to add, just thought that it’s neat. We have officially passed the subscriber count of r/steamdeck_linux.

Congratulations to this community! 3K is more than enough to sustain itself, regardless of what happens with the other website.

Here’s for a good future playing games, sharing boot animations of Gaben’s face, and not being coerced into using a badly coded app with weird NFTs.

Cool to see. I’m posting from kbin - super neat to see your Steam deck content from here.

And I’m posting from Memmy, a Lemmy iOS app in beta!

Just wait till the apps hit the public stores and that “convenience” bar gets cleared.

      Things are looking pretty bright!

I don’t even have a Deck but this federation thing is super cool.

I’d have been sad if people who seem to love tinkering and the open nature of their decks weren’t willing to give the fediverse a try. So to see the community slowly growing is real cool.

I’m happy the community here is growing so I can have people here to talk about steam deck with.

Sniff the air vent softly while playing an intense game. The heat creates a wonderful sweet, sort of electronic savory smell.

It’s really lovely. I sniff my Steam Deck air vent probably once or twice a week on average. Some weeks much more if it’s cold out.

It feels nice to lightly brush the tip of your nose across the ribs of the went while inhaling too :)

Nothing like a few essential oils to retrain your sense of smell. I recommend lavender, cinammon, lime, mint, and blown integrated circuits.

You should. Nothing like the smell of Steam Deck to get you going.

Maybe Steam Deck users are more prone to leaving reddit or something.

I definitely wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a notable overlap there. Probably not a stretch to imagine that the technically-minded users would be more in tune with the protest.

Great news! I have been lurking Lemmy for few months now and I have finally moved here for good.
