Ackshually… the blades of wind turbines are usually made of composite material.
Also, they aren’t fans.
If they are a collection of wings, would that make them airplanes?
I know it’s a joke and all, but really they actually are. A fan being spun by the wind will generate electricity. A wind turbine is literally a giant fan that runs backwards.
