Musk snapped back at the court’s order. On Friday, he called de Moraes “an evil dictator” for shutting down the “#1 source of truth in Brazil”.

I don’t know much about Brazillian press freedom, but I do know Musk; “truth” there definitely means “alternative facts”.

Musk is in no position to claim he even can distinguish truth anymore. He is so disconnected from reality he would probably be committed if he wasn’t a billionaire.

The comment section will support this because right wingers are the victims this time, and Elon Musk bad.

Did Elon bungle this? Certainly, but X being banned is Brazil is a net negative.

Pretty sure he shut down all offices in Brazil and stopped responding to Brazil’s government about legal matters…

Like, I’d ask “what did he think would happen” but it’s Musk, he knows uninformed people will argue and defend him online despite not knowing anything about the situation.

My buddy has an 8 year old that’s weirdly very pro-Musk, and he does the same shit. He doesn’t have his own cell phone so he can’t just look up things on the internet whenever to research something, so I cut him some slack.

Not everyone has that excuse tho.
