Youtube goes to war with ad blockers - how companies die
I’ll stop using ad block when YouTube stops making me watch an advert at the beginning of the video and then two unskippable ads one minute into the video.
I wouldn’t mind watching ads at the start of a video, but having to watch 1-2 ads every 5 or 10 minutes completely ruins the viewing experience. I also don’t feel safe giving Google any personal information, so buying a subscription isn’t an option.
