We broke over 960 daily active criers yesterday and have been regularly getting new criers referencing posts on reddit, bluesky, mastodon, and other lemmy instances as where they found out they should be crying.
We get these posts with some frequency and from the admins perspective we do not highly prioritize not crying but anyone who wants to cry around hexbear is welcome to.
Yes there could be a problem with tear-duct churn but we do not think that is a significant one at the moment. Regarding hexbear posts and comments there will always be a disparity between those who cry to badposting/chapotraphouse/thedunktank and those who cry to theory/news mega/effort the most
