I am unable to access Apollo’s settings so I am not sure how to get the JSON file.
Might be an oversight by Christian. Maybe he’ll release one more update if people report this bug.
Btw, at least wefwef.app has a feature to import Apollo’s settings.
I only see a spot to upload the JSON. Is there something I’m missing where it will auto import it from Apollo?
No, I just meant that one can import Apollo settings to wefwef. But, if you didn’t export the settings when it was possible, there’s nothing you can do about it, except to make sure Christian knows about the problem.

I assume Apollo needs to use the Reddit API to export your subs and he can’t now because of the cost impact. We needed to this before 1st July. Annoying that I only found it after.
I did it a couple days ago. Basically all it exports is your list of subs. You then have to click on each one to see if there is a similar community on lemmy, then subscribe manually. It’s useful, but only to a point.

I’ve run into the same problem. Let’s hope for a fix.
Looks like it. Maybe you could email the dev and ask him nicely to add the export button back.
Yeah, I don’t know why the developer disallows exports and now locks you to this screen.
Did you unmute the app? It doesn’t help with what you’re doing but it’s worth doing.
Also the settings are not very fleshed out here so not sure what all it would transfer over anyway? But yeah it would be nice to back them up for future developments I guess.
