Imagine my surprise when I switched to Linux and my chosen DE had a mascot sharing (sorta) my name!
In reality KDE projects should start with GNU/K, because thr KDE desktop environment is just a small part of the GNU operating system, which is actually the core of the operating system.

I know you’re joking, but KDE is much more than just a Linux desktop environment. They make all sorts of software working on all sorts of operating systems. I use Kdenlive on windows for example. And 90% of browsers nowadays use a fork of KDEs KHTML rendering engine.

If the KDE devs ever made a audio editor, they should name it K-on just for the sake of thematic memes
