Lemmy - Join a Server

Hi! I’m new to lemmy. I think the join-lemmy instances list is a great resource, though I’ve noticed that the instance I recently set up does not appear in the list. Is listing automatic, and in that case what should I do to make sure it appears? And if it’s not automatic, who should we contact to request to be included in the list?

    My instance showed up after a day or two. The installation instructions say:

    1. Federate with at least one instance from the list
    2. Have a site description and icon
    3. Be patient and wait the site to be updated, there’s no fixed schedule for that

    For (1) I made sure I subscribed to a community in lemmy.ml from my instance.
