NATO has issued a clarification regarding earlier statements made by Secretary-General Mark Rutte concerning four U.S. soldiers who went missing during a training exercise in Lithuania. Initially, Rutte suggested that the soldiers had died; however, NATO later emphasized that the search is ongoing and their fate remains unconfirmed. The incident occurred near the General Silvestras Žukauskas training ground in Pabradė, close to Lithuania’s border with Belarus.
