You’re right. They should have made something like this for the Ragnarok bundle. I had the God of War custom PS4 Pro, but always thought the Spider-Man design looked way bette, and now they did it again.
I’m tempted to buy these face plates for mine, but $50+ just for some plastic seems a bit much.
It’s funny how god of war is their original property too, so you would think it would get more love.

Unpopular opinion I know, but these SE consoles always look so tacky. I can’t imagine something that gaudy in my living room. Maybe in a 13 year old’s bedroom next to his Offspring CDs.
OTOH, I have a man cave. So it would fit with my Master Chief helmet and the Rock Band guitars hung up on my wall.

I also enjoy that its swappable so if you want the Spider-Man look you can go all out and if you want to go back to the default white it only takes a few minutes of moving plastic. Wish they took advantage of this more and had plates for most first party releases.
Agreed. Although the resale value was good, I was glad I got rid of my Battlefront II PS4 Pro (for my PS5 of course) because it looked tacky as hell in my living room.
The PS5 is a huge improvement visually, IMO.
I’m so glad they’re selling the plates, I have the Spider-Man limited edition PS4 and it just feels right to have the PS5 too.
@MikeHawksProGamer I love it. I’m a big #SpiderMan fan. Looking at this, remind me of the old #PS4 that I still have. Is a limited #StarWars PS4 with #DarthVader on the side and a Star Wars #controller that looks amazing. And this #PS5 version and controller with the layers of “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2” are freaking gorgeous. On the PS5 I have and play the game “Spider-Man: Miles Morales”. Maybe in the future I could buy only the cover and the controller of “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2”.
I like that for this one they’re also offering just the faceplates. Im sure its going to be overpriced for plastic but its nice that you don’t need to buy a new console to get the look.

There’s been rumors circulating around in the past few days that a PS5 slim model is coming out. Apparently there have been a few discounts on base PS5s recently, which seems to be where those rumors are coming from.
I just want a regular black version. Is that too much to ask for?
PS2 slim was the epitome of console design.
