Microsoft normally puts out updates on Tuesday.
How to change the boot load image on Linux?
Some motherboards you can set the boot image with their proprietary software.
But you can also do it in grub I believe.
This was the last big vulnerability I remember hearing about, I think they were putting things that were not images there and it was a bad time
