Something I heard Hasan say the other day. Being trans isn’t a mental illness, being anti-trans is a mental illness. Because once you actually start looking into gender and realise its a social construct, you subconsciously start transvestigating people all around you and assuming they are trans (for actions/thoughts/feelings that are normal for heteros)

    Horribly paraphrased of course

Milo said something similar about TERFism in the UK. TEFFism will take over your entire life, even if you’re otherwise a normal person.

i’m like a transvestigater but cool (i assume like 90% of the people i run into are trans but it’s just because i’m looking for people like me. and crucially i don’t do anything but feel good in the knowledge that i’m not alone)

Ah yes projecting. Imagine this, but swap “transing” for Christianity and infant baptism and declaring “hey, look at our new Christian boy! We’ve modified his genitals to our liking”. Conservatives wouldn’t even bat an eye.

The liberals don’t want you to know this, but a baby’s gender can be manipulated by precise kegel exercises as it travels through the birth canal

That’s why I’m all fricked up, my mom got to her third childbirth and thought “you know what let’s just do all the weird shit as that dude slides out and see what happens”

Thats how moral panics work see; Irish Garroting panic, santanic panic

Both events had newspapers completely fabricating things that didnt happen and presenting them as factual in order to stoke fear/anger.

I really love hearing the “some people want to raise a trans kid” talking point because it’s the most nonsense idea I’ve ever heard. I’ve never heard someone actually say they want a trans kid or even talk weirdly to suggest they might. I think bigots got confused with white people adopting minorities and got carried away

I’m thinking that the “toss” suffix is either a dogwhistle, or will become one soon. At least this guy can’t draw like Stonetoss can.
